ActiveVault 4.0 consolidates data from backup media into a single venue for uniform management and control. The webbased interface helps authorized users access the archive to conduct search activities. Historical data that is sent to the archive is indexed and classified, says CEO Steven Horan, CEO of Texasbased RenewData Corp. (www.renewdata.com). Automated workflows support user-based and lexicon classification schemas, he says. Users can create case folders and track and manage the status of legal holds within the archives, he notes.
